As per our Swimming Southland constitution, it is one vote per club per vacant seat. In 2026 there will be two vacancies.
Membership number weighting does not apply to the voting for the board members.

The Board Charter set out below must be formally acknowledged and signed by each member of the Swimming Southland Board.
All Board Members are required to adhere to the provisions and expectations outlined within the Charter. The Charter will be signed at the first meeting of the newly constituted Board, confirming each member’s commitment to uphold its principles and governance responsibilities throughout their term of office.
