Inclusive Activity Murihiku is happy to announce a fantastic addition to our governance board. Brooke Anderson will be a fantastic addition and will represent the youth voice well.

Brooke has been a member of SBS Bank Academy Southland for both 2022 and 2023 and is a competitive para swimmer.

When not busy with swimming, Brooke has been the Chairperson of the Secondary School Sports Council in 2022, a member of the Halberg Youth Council in 2023 and has recently been selected to be on the Youth Group in the NZ Curriculum refresh.

Brooke is also busy with her studies at Central Southland College and has gained NCEA 1 and 2 with excellence and won the Secondary School Sports Awards - Athlete with a disability.

Welcome to the board Brooke. You will be a very good addition and we thank you for expressing your interest in helping us to achieve better recreation and activity outcomes in Murihiku for disabled tamariki and rangitahi.
