Rep Meet Information

To help family's plan ahead please find below links to each meets qualifying times, event information, the official web page and Swimming Southland's prelim team documents 
PLEASE NOTE
  • The Swimming Southland prelim documents contain budgeted figures not finalized costings and the number of coaches & managers that attend will depend on the number of swimmers that actually attend. 
  • Event Entry - this is the responsibility of the swimmer/parent and needs to be completed via fastlane on time
  • As soon as you decide to attend a Representative Meet, please let our Executive Officer know

UNIFORMS

When you travel & represent Southland it's important we look like a team!! 
Below are the uniform items you are required to wear as at June 14th 2021

TIER 1NZ Champs, NZ Age Group Champs or NZ Short Course Champs
When attending these swimmers are required to wear the following items:
  • When travelling: White Swimming Southland polo, black pants/tights/shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket
  • When poolside: Maroon (morning sessions) Gold (finals sessions) Swimming Southland polo or singletblack shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket
TIER 2NZ Div 2 Champs
When attending these swimmers are required to wear the following items:
  • When travelling: White Swimming Southland polo, black pants/tights/shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket
  • When poolside: Maroon Swimming Southland polo or singletblack shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket

TIER 3 - South Island County & Town Comp, South Island Long Course and Short Course Champs 
When attending these swimmers are required to wear the following items:
  • When travelling: Maroon Swimming Southland polo, black shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket 
  • When poolside: Maroon Swimming Southland polo or singlet, black shorts and the Swimming Southland jacket 
 

Rep Documentation

With any team there comes a certain amount of paperwork - please complete and return your forms in a timely manner 

Swimmers Agreement - This must be completed and emailed to our Executive Officer before you travel to your first Representative Meet each calendar year.

Medical Form - It is essential we have your current medical information So at any stage during the year should your medical or emergency contacts details change please complete another form and email it to our Executive Officer

Travel dispensation Form - It is expected that all swimmers will travel and stay with the team for the duration of the meet, but if a swimmer requires to do so independently they must apply for approval to the Swimming Southland Management Board. Application is to be made by completing the travel dispensation form below and emailing it to the Swimming Southland Executive Officer a minimum of 14 days prior to departure
